Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Oro-Maxillofacial, Ear-Nose-Throat, Urology, Plastic, Vascular, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Podiatry.

Anesthesia related services, clinical responsibilities: Preanesthesia assessment, Requesting laboratory/diagnostic studies. Develop anesthesia care plans. Obtain informed consent from patients for anesthesia procedures. Preanesthetic medication, General anesthesia and adjuvant drugs, Total Intravenous Anesthesia techniques, Regional anesthesia techniques (Subarachnoid, Epidural, Upper extremity, Lower extremity), Sedation techniques, Select, prepare, or use equipment, monitors, supplies, or drugs for the administration of anesthetics. Calibrate and test anesthesia equipment. Disassemble and clean anesthesia equipment. Insert arterial catheters or perform arterial punctures to obtain arterial blood samples. Insert peripheral or central intravenous catheters. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation management, Invasive and noninvasive monitoring, Airway management techniques, Mechanical ventilation/oxygen therapy, Fluid, electrolyte, acid-base management, Blood, blood products, plasma expanders, Acute and chronic pain therapy, Post anesthesia care/discharge. Instruct nurses, residents, interns, students or other staff on topics such as anesthetic techniques, pain management and emergency responses. Read current literature, talk with colleagues, and participate in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in nursing.
