Full Description:
Orthopaedic Anesthesia Specialists LLC is a collaborative group practice providing anesthesia coverage at OrthoNebraska Hospital in Omaha. Our group currently consists of five anesthesiologists and nine CRNAs. We are recruiting for part time CRNAs. Our CRNAs work only weekdays, no weekends, no nights, no holidays and no call. Our compensation package is competitive, and includes salary, paid vacation, health insurance, long and short term disability, a Health Savings Account, liability insurance, a 401k and profit sharing plan, and reimbursement for CME and license expenses. OAS pays a 15% contribution to the employee's 401k plan. if the part time CRNA works 30 hours or more a week. In addition we pay overtime on a trimester basis. Our CRNAs provide anesthesia for sports medicine orthopaedic cases, hand cases, total joints, spine cases, and a small number of ENT and maxillofacial surgery cases. They have a high degree of autonomy, but are never without backup from the MDs if needed.

Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital is rated best in Nebraska and #44 in the country for Orthopaedics by US News and World Reports. NOH is considered a great place to work. The facility has a total of eleven operating rooms. We typically have seven or eight cases starting at seven AM. Our caseload consists of scheduled elective cases with very few add ons. This is a physician owned facility that is so highly rated because of patient experience, outcome and efficiency. The collegial atmosphere among the surgical staff and employees of the hospital, and the nature of our patient population and caseload make the work environment enjoyable. The work hours are dependent on the schedule but average about forty hours a week. The CRNAs manage their own schedule and dismissal order.
