Full Description: |
CASE Medical Group is a physician only private practice providing anesthesia services to Sutter Hospitals in the Sacramento area from Davis to Auburn. We serve 5 hospitals, 10 outpatient surgery centers and several eye surgery centers. Subgroups are based out of the regional hospitals and practice spectrum depends on the subgroup, but all are excellent, enjoyable anesthesia practices so it depends on where you want to live. We hire, on average, 6 to 8 new doctors per year. Both new grads and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.
Sutter Auburn Hospital is the primary community hospital for Auburn. It is a 64-bed acute care hospital nestled in the heart of California's Gold Country, at the base of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains. The hospital serves patients in Auburn and surrounding foothill communities by combining the latest technologies with small-town friendliness and charm. There are 4 operating rooms at the hospital and 2 rooms + endo at the surgery center. Call has a generous stipend and it is not hard (very rare to work after 9 PM). It is a nice practice in a lovely community. Currently we are recruiting for two positions at this location.
CASE Medical Group, Inc. provides a rich and rewarding private practice experience. At the core of our success is a commitment to the value of teamwork, excellence in patient care and private practice business savvy. We have a dedicated team of office professionals who take care of credentialing, billing, scheduling, expenses, licensing, and payroll allowing us to focus on our craft, caring for surgical patients.
A true private practice like ours has many advantages including ownership, a sense of engagement, autonomy, financial freedom, and a healthy work-life balance for you and your family. You can take the vacation as you want, when you want it. With productivity based compensation you can work as hard as you want or as easy as you want. CASE physicians enjoy one of the lowest premiums for medical malpractice insurance anywhere in California. We have a solid and long standing relationship with Sutter Hospitals, having partnered with Sutter for over 40 years. We provide a safe, excellent and comprehensive physician-only anesthesia service. Sutter, in turn, provides the tools and resources we need to practice smoothly, efficiently and truly enjoy our specialty of anesthesiology.
We seek affable, well trained anesthesiologists. We look for diversity in backgrounds, interests, hobbies and skills. Our anesthesia group is run by physicians for physicians and everyone's input is welcome, lending your skills and expertise. We like applicants who have a desire to live in the Sacramento area and who want to be here long term. We do not use locum tenens. This year we have a starting incentive of $20,000 for each physician who joins us which will go a long way to help with moving costs.
