The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Shadyside hospital. A qualified anesthesiologist will be ABA board-eligible, certified, or equivalent and qualify for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
• General position; opportunities in acute pain as well as cardiac and anesthesiology are available for candidates with fellowship training or substantial experience in these subspecialties.
• Schedule: daylight coverage M-F / 6:30a– 3:30p / 6:30a - 5:30p / 6:30a - 7:30p
• Call: All days - beeper call and in-house OB call, 7:00 p – 7:00a
• CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
• Hospital has 20 anesthesiologists and 44 CRNAs
